Company SOPs & Guides

Standard Operating Procedures and internal guidance written specifically for Slavic Airlines Group. This section fills in as documents are published — check back as the roster grows.

Required Tools & Setup

Everything you need installed to fly for us, and the handful of setup problems that account for most support questions.

Connecting Pegasus to your sim

MSFS 2020 and 2024: nothing to install. Since Pegasus 2.0.15 it connects through SimConnect, which comes with the simulator. FSUIPC is no longer required and you can uninstall it if you only added it for us.

X-Plane 11/12: nothing to download — Pegasus prompts you to install its own plugin the first time you run it.

Prepar3D, FSX, FS2004: install the latest compatible FSUIPC. The free unlicensed version is all we use.

Pegasus ACARS

Our flight tracker. Download it from your pilot area once you have registered — sign in with the same email and password, no separate key to copy.

Pegasus updates itself, and running an out-of-date copy is a hard stop rather than a warning, so let it update when it asks.

SimBrief — free

Flight planning: route, fuel, and weights. Our dispatch generates your operational flight plan through it, so linking an account makes booking considerably smoother.

Navigraph — optional, paid

Charts and current AIRAC navigation data. Not required to fly with us, but it is what links your SimBrief account and keeps your flight plans matching current real-world procedures.

Do not run anything as administrator

This is the single most common reason the tracker never sees your simulator. Pegasus and the sim should both run normally — not elevated.

If you genuinely must run one as administrator, then everything in the chain has to be, including FSUIPC where you still use it. A mismatch is what breaks the connection.

Book before you open Pegasus

Pegasus only lists an airline once you hold a booking there, so an empty airline list almost always means no flight is booked yet rather than something being broken.

It also always picks your oldest outstanding booking — if you hold two, it will track the earlier one first.

One machine at a time

Signing into Pegasus on a second computer silently signs out the first. If tracking stops unexpectedly, check whether you left it running elsewhere.

SayIntentions — optional, paid

AI-powered ATC, co-pilot, and cabin crew in your simulator. Entirely optional, but if you use it, we can personalise your crew and dispatcher with Slavic Airlines Group's own voice.

Using This Site

Quick pointers to the tools already built into slavicairlines.com.

Booking a Flight

Log into your Account dashboard, pick a route and tail number, and book it. Mark it flown once you've completed it in the sim.

Dispatch & SimBrief

The Dispatch page pre-fills a SimBrief plan from any route in our schedule — pick your route and tail, and it opens SimBrief with the fields already set.

Linking vAMSYS

Create your account on this site, then from your Account page register with vAMSYS (free) and press Link my vAMSYS account — you approve it once on vamsys.io and your pilot number appears on your profile. Your flights show on the Live Tracker as you fly them. Full walkthrough: Pilot Setup Guide (PDF).

SayIntentions Sync

Add your personal SayIntentions API key to your profile, then use the "Sync to SayIntentions" button on a booked flight to personalize your in-sim ATC, crew, and co-pilot with Slavic Airlines Group's own voice.

ATC & datalink providers

Your aircraft talks to one ACARS provider at a time — PMDG: EFB → Settings → ATC Network; Fenix: the Fenix app → ACARS Service — and the choice is Hoppie, SayIntentions or BeyondATC. Tick the ones you use on your Account page and mark which is active. What reaches you where:

  • Hoppie (VATSIM / IVAO / independent): PDC and CPDLC with online ATC; company telex from station PSL (loadsheet, delays, diversions) in the aircraft. One logon code per sub-network.
  • SayIntentions: AI ATC by voice, its own ACARS network (PDC/CPDLC/telex) and our dispatcher, cabin-crew and co-pilot briefings via your personal API key.
  • BeyondATC: AI ATC by voice with PDC/CPDLC in supported aircraft. No company-message channel or API yet — our messages come through the web EFB and Discord.

Aircraft Study Manuals

Official documentation from each developer in our fleet. We link to the developers' own sites rather than hosting copies ourselves — these are their products and their manuals.

PMDG — 737, 777, 747
